The eggbutt bar is a universally deployable mouthpiece, it sits very quietly in the horse‘s mouth and the eggbutts effectively prevent pinching of the lips. The bit fits perfectly in the mouth due to its slight curve. Pressure on the rein alters the angle of the bit in the mouth and, due to its special design, produces an increased effect on the bars and tongue.
